Jefferson Area Schools

Edgewater Elementary Schools

Principal: Marcella D’Orazio

Edgewater Elementary provides a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where students have the opportunity to be bilingual, biliterate, and multicultural. We offer a Preschool through 3rd grade 2-Way Dual Language (DL) Program which will move up through the grades each year, reaching 6th grade in the 2025-2026 school year. Many before and after school programs and tutoring opportunities are offered for our students, as well as School Age Enrichment each day (before and after school care). We welcome family participation through Family Leadership, PTA, and volunteer opportunities. iSi Se Puede!

Lumberg Elementary Schools

Principal: Janace Fischer

Lumberg Elementary is home to a diverse group of students and staff.  Lumberg continues to be a PreK-6th grade school within a school.  We are a One-Way Dual Language school with a Dual Language classroom for every grade, including our PreK which has a native Spanish speaking class.  All students have the opportunity to expeditionize their learning through field trips and community service projects.  Before and after school care is also available for children through Kids Smart. Families are a big part of who we are and there are several family opportunities to get involved with the learning your child is doing through Family CREW meetings, volunteer opportunities, attending field trips and assemblies and joining our expeditionary work.
